Admission Terms & Conditions for General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) Course
- Minimum Educational Qualification
- 10+2 with English and minimum 40% at the qualifying exam; English individually from any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from state open schools (State Government) and National Institute of Open Schooling (Central Government). Science preferred.
- 10+2 with English having 40% marks in vocational ANM course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
- Physical and Mental Fitness: Applicants must be physically and mentally fit to undergo 3 years of classroom and practical training.
- Age: Minimum age 17 years (as of 31st December that year). Upper age limit 35 years. For ANM/LHV, no age bar.
